“A Patriotic Summer”

July 29-30, 2022

Our Flower Show Wins Two 1st Place Awards and One 2nd Place Award

Our 2022 Flower Show, “A Patriotic Summer", won 1st Place for a club of our size (50-99 members) from the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania for the Flower Show Book of Evidence. As a first place winner, our Book of Evidence will be sent on to be judged for a national award. We want to thank Rani Murali for directing the procedure and Cindy Vatavuk and her sister for their fine photography which captured the exhibits exquisitely and their skill in assembling the Book of Evidence.

Our Schedule also received a 1st place award for clubs with 51+ members and will be sent to the Central Atlantic Region of State Garden Clubs for judging to advance to national.

Our club won 2nd Place in the CAR-SGC Outstanding Educational Exhibit Award “Revering Our Flag” by Sharon Davidhizer and Linda McCaulley. Pictures of their beautiful exhibit are below.

Congratulation to Rani Murali, Flower Show Chair, Bridget Sarosi, her Co-Chair and all the other GC members who participated in the show. We appreciate everyone’s hard work!

Every two years, the GC of J holds a flower show.
